Evens Architects is a specialized studio operating within the KAA Design Group, the award winning firm established by Grant Kirkpatrick in 1988. Building on the strengths and expertise cultivated by KAA over the past 30 years, Evens Architects focuses exclusively on traditional residential design, the forte of principal Erik Evens.Evens joined KAA Design Group in 1998, adding his distinctive voice and considerable experience—notably in the area of classic architectural idioms—to the firm’s formidable design team. He has been an indispensable leader and collaborator in all of KAA’s operations for the past 22 years.The KAA Design Group currently operates with a staff of 32, of which 30 are design staff members. In addition to architectural design, KAA Design Group are also landscape architects, and are adept at fusing architecture and landscape into a holistic design approach.
